Loving this invention Oct 22, 2009 Absolutely wonderful! Much easier to pop the shapes out by pushing through the back rather than the traditional bang-it-on-the-counter method. My only qualm? That the shapes with sharper angles (ie dolphins and stars) can be a bit harder to get out.

VERY SHALLOW BEWARE Aug 28, 2009 I expected these to be the size of traditional ice cube trays. They are not. they are barely 1/4" deep. These are ice FLAKE trays. purely a novelty item not functional as ice cubes. Unless you plan on using the whole tray for each glass.
I think they are cute and well made just too shallow to be functional.
Review for Craft Use Aug 22, 2009 I didn't buy this product for making ice cubes; I bought it for molding plastic resin for making jewelery/magnets/etc.
As far as that goes, they work great! Once the resin has fully cured they pop out easily and nicely from these well-made silicone molds. I can only guess that they would work great for making ice cubes as well if they can handle the torture test of using liquid plastic in them.

Crafts Aug 18, 2008 I used these to make "hot melt" art pieces which are easy to remove because the trays are flexible.
Cute shapes, difficult to remove ice Feb 29, 2008 Shapes are a neat idea, but removing the ice from the trays can be challenging. The soft rubber seems to hold onto the ice.
