Description
This is a 17-track, 35-minute concert featuring a collection of soothing classical melodies perfect to calm little ones as they wind down for nap time, bedtime or a bit of quiet time. Each piece, re-orchestrated for little ears by the Baby Einstein Music Box Orchestra, was specially selected to lull babies into sweet, blissful dreams. Lullaby Classics opens with "Twinkle, Twinkle" variations by Mozart and includes calming and delightful melodies from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Dvorak and Debussy. It ends with Brahms's "Lullaby" tucking baby in for a cozy, restful sleep.

Quality music and production, and works as a lullaby for us May 16, 2010 Great music -- our twins and we love it. I can see how it may not work as a lullaby for some though, since some of the music is pretty animated. Nevertheless we include the whole album on our set list for lullaby music and it works great -- its a nice addition to our other lullaby music.
Not for Bedtime Jan 23, 2010 I was excited to purchase this cd because my son really likes the BE videos. I was quite disappointed when I put it on the first evening I brought it home. The songs are fast tempo and very "chimey" sounding. I found myself not at all relaxed and found that he actually got wound up by the cd. This might be fun to play around the house but is not really soothing for us. I'll stick to the piano classics cd we've been using as he drifts right off to that.

Love It Oct 24, 2009 When my son was 6 weeks old we tried everything to help him sleep. My favorite book suggested playing a cd EVERYTIME he went to sleep. We tried several different ones from a women singing lullabies (Husband said get rid of it) to the rainforest nature sounds. This is the one we stuck with. MY son is now 4 1/2 and still he listens to the cd. We just had a baby girl. I play this now for her and she sleeps great. I highly recommend.

Great sleepy time music Sep 18, 2009 I have used this CD with both of my kids in helping them go to sleep and I love it. It's great, mellow music and it helps them go to sleep. I highly recommend this CD to anyone looking for some peaceful classical music.
