The spoon is great the fork is useless Aug 23, 2010 I was looking for a set that my 20 month old would enjoy using. She loved using the spoon but really hates the fork... I don't know if there is a single functional toddler fork out there but this one for sure is pretty useless if your child is trying to use it the way a fork was intended to be used. I got these with the Boon Catch Bowl - Toddler Bowl with Spill Catcher in Pink/White and the Silikids Universal Standard Small Siliskin, Lime to get my toddler fully independent. All has worked tremendously well for me so far.

Cute but not very useful Jul 10, 2009 I bought two sets of these because they were cute and have discovered that, like many cute things, they are not especially useful. The fork is too rounded to stab at food. When our Moose uses it to pick up things, they fall off, and then he picks up the food with his fingers. Not the point at all. And they are too big for a 18 month old's mouth.
Maybe when the babies are older the size will be more appropriate. At this age though, all they are good for is making a mess.
cute looking but not that useful Jul 07, 2009 This is a cute set but the fork hardly catches anything. The quality is good but for someone who is just learning to self feed, I would not recommend this fork.
Not Practical Jun 25, 2009 Bought these at Target the other day. Looked very cool and chemical free peaked my interest. Got them home and the kids tried to use them...a 1 1/2 yr old and a 3 yr old. They are bendable, which in theory is nice, but when in use they are constantly moving. IDK...didn't work for us. I was bummed.

Too big for my nine month old Mar 05, 2009 I love the look and feel of these spoons, but the round shape is too big for my daughter's small mouth. Difficult to get her to open so wide to fit it, so I end up making a mess everywhere. I would suggest using these only when they are able to feed themselves.
