Important but over looked component of the Drinkwell system Aug 30, 2010 I was a little put out by making this purchase but after seeing how grungie the first filter was after removal and seeing the water 'mature' without a filter has helped me realize the true value of the filters. I'm very happy with the purchase.
Customer service??? Aug 26, 2010 I never received my items and Amazon has done absolutely nothing about it. I contacted their customer service department and I was supposed to receive a reply within 12 hours....it has been 48+ hours and I have not heard a word from them. I now have to go through my credit card company to dispute the charge. Very dissapointing.
Drinkwell Jul 16, 2010 My little dog loves the drinkwell. It's so much easier than having to give fresh water everyday. I would purchase this item again.
Drinkwell Filters Jun 09, 2010 This isn't an item that's worthy of a typical review. Either they work or not. I can tell you without these filters, the water is not near as clean. These filters pick up algae, food particles, hair, etc, hold on to it so as not to dump it back into the well for the animals to drink. The instructions say these should be replaced every 2-4 weeks but actually, they last much longer. Keep an eye on the filter and when it begins to get "gunky", it's time to replace it.

Good filters Jun 07, 2010 Drinkwell Original 2-Chamber Replacement Filters are a good filter. I've found if you rinse them in running water until they run clear they can be reused about two or three times, depending on your water quality.
These are designed for the Drinkwell Original Pet Fountain, and they do their job well.
