Owned mine for 7 years. Mar 11, 2010 I have owned my chi for 7 years now and it still works great. I have to admit it does not do my hair as well as it used to but just recently. I believe it is not getting as hot has it used to. I am not complaining though because it was every bit worth the money. 7 YEARS! It's an awesome product.
WOW! Mar 10, 2010 This was an amazing straightener. On Amazon you can snag this for a great deal, too. I have very thick hair and every other straightener I have tried it takes me literal an hour or more to get it perectly straight. Tnis straihtener takes me 5 minutes, I am SO pleased with the order. This was definitley the best choice I have ever made when buying an item off of Amazon.

The best!! Mar 09, 2010 I've had my CHI for about 8 years and just recently am experiencing a cord problem. It turns on but turns off when I start to move it around. So I'm interested in buying a new one. I did pay about $130 for the first one but funds are tight these days and I'm thinking about ordering one from Amazon- I was skeptical about the deep discount but maybe thats just a chance I have to take.
amazing Mar 06, 2010 I am in love with my new chi. It is the best oif the best, Straightens my hair in half the time and thanks to you Amazon I got my Chi before the waiting period that I was told. I was happy with the whole process and wil;l be ordering again from Amazon.

Faulty Condition Mar 05, 2010 We purchased the Farouk Chi 1 Inch Ceramic Iron. It came in packaging that appeared to have been opened which was surprising since the listing said it was new.
The iron itself works but for a glitch I've never experienced with other Farouk CHI's. I have to hold it upside down to make it hot. If I set it flat on a countertop it immediately gets cold again.
Tried to contact the seller w/ no success, hopefully this review will promote a contact.
