Omron Heart Rate Monitor Sep 03, 2010 Was looking for a simple heart rate monitor for use on the treadmill and this turned put to be perfect. Also time between ordering online and receiving was very fast. Highly recommend.
Didn't Work ... Don't waste your time ... Buy a different brand Aug 30, 2010 I read the enclosed product booklet that came w/ the Omron heart monitor and I followed all of the set-up instrucions, but the heart monitor just didn't do anything. It registered the time, but it never displayed anything else durring my treadmill workout. I pressed the correct button, the correct number of times and ... no change. I don't need another watch, I need a heart monitor.
Good value Aug 30, 2010 This is a good product. I was surprised to see that it synced with some of the equipment in my gym. It's easy to use.
heart monitor worth it Aug 24, 2010 I like the price for the monitor and the strap and ease of set up. it picks my heartrate up right away, had no problem with that.
i do have an issue with the buckle. i have to keep putting it back on. when i take the wrist monitor off, the metal buckle keeps popping off and i have to search for it. i will contact them regarding this to replace it. that is the ONLY issue i had with it. easy to read and program.
Great monitor for its price! Aug 23, 2010 I just want to say that this little monitor works great. It is a good investment for its price. Granted that someone might get a lemon here and there, lemons are a problem when they're not well backed, but Amazon does a great job at backing your purchase, so don't worry. One thing to consider would be the fact that this monitor's transmission is not encoded, so you might get some interference in a very crowded gym with lots of these. Otherwise it's a very good choice for someone that wants an inexpensive(not cheap) Heart Rate Monitor that will warn them about their high and low zones. Give it a try. You'll probably stick with it.
