SQEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK Embarrassing!!! Aug 15, 2010 I bought this bag a few years back (in 08 now it's 2010) because of the cheap price and to carry the the new laptop I had bought at that time. I was going to college as a computer networking major and had to carry my laptop around daily. I did use it for several months but had to stop because of the embarrassment it caused. Basically the plastic hooks that connect the strap to the bag makes a constant "squeeking" noise as I walk. Not only can it be heard indoors and in subways but its so loud it is audible even while walking in the streets. I live in NYC and the only place I couldn't hear it was when I walked the streets of Manhattan since its a little louder there - too bad my college was in Queens :(
Anyway the bag itself is pretty good, quality is good as is cushioning. When it rains and you have no umbrella you don't have to worry about the water reaching the machine inside. But it's that darn squeaking that made me retire the bag for good. And the other thing is if you carry the strap over one shoulder instead of wearing it cross shoulder it keeps slipping off and you have to constantly re-adjust it, the small rubber piece you see in the middle of the strap here doesn't stay in place - they should have sealed/sewed it in place and this issue could have been avoided. But that's not that big a deal.
So I wouldn't recommend this bag unless you don't get selfconscious about these things - which is kind of hard to do when you emit duck noises with every step you take.

Just right Jul 15, 2010 This bag was just right. It had plenty of storage room for the cords/charger.

low end bag Jul 15, 2010 this bag is fine for the price. but with the reviews i thought it would be better. You get what you pay for. Small storage and it feels cheap. It will get the job done but that is the extent of it.

Pretty decent bag for $20 Jul 15, 2010 This bag is pretty thin, to my surprise, but it was capable to carry all of my binders and pencils. The only problem i saw was when carrying my 15" Macbook Pro, it was pretty heavy so i try not to carry it using this bag. Overall, really great bag. I'd give it a 4.5

Love this bag! Jul 11, 2010 It was a nice fit for my 15" inch laptop. There's a lot of pockets for those who like to be organized.
My only issue was the other pockets weren't roomy enough. You can only care the bare essentials with this bag.
