Just Right Mar 03, 2010 Since receiving my Keurig coffee maker for Christmas I have already gone through 176 K-cups of varying roasts from 8 different brands and I have to say that the Rainforest Extra Bold Espresso is by far the boldest, smoothest tasting coffee I have enjoyed. Like previous reviewers, I also can attest to the absence of a bitter aftertaste, which is a real delight. Another thing I noticed is when I watch the coffee dispense from the Keurig brewer, the stream of coffee is consistently dark in color from start to finish of the brew cycle. This observation set my engineering brain on a quest to find out why! Succintly stated, it is because Timothy's puts more coffee in the K-cups. This in conjunction with the superb roasting of this coffee, and its delightful flavor make this selection my hands down favorite so far. I will also add that the product I received from Amazon was marked with a use-by date of June 2010 -- still very fresh! I consider it a best buy and definitely recommend it for the bold-roast coffee lovers in the crowd.
Just delicious Feb 11, 2010 We received a Keurig coffee maker for Christmas. We were a little unsure how good the coffee would be. I ordered the Rainforest Espresso as well as Parisian Nights because my husband and I both like a good bold cup of coffee. They are both good, but the espresso is so smooth with no bitterness that we agree that it is superior to the Parisian Nights. This will become our regular coffee.
Finally a K cup strong enough for my taste Feb 03, 2010 I have been looking for a K cup that was really bold. Prior to this, the emeril was my favorite. I have tried quite a few of them and they are never strong enough. I thought the price was right on this as well.If you like a strong cup, give it a try.
Not espresso, but darn good... Jan 20, 2010 Has some complex notes - among them espresso - but the name is misleading in that it is simply regular coffee with espresso overtones. Quite tasty but if you seek espresso...
Nothing special Jan 08, 2010 I was disappointed with this coffee. It really doesn't have much flavor to it at all. I didn't expect espresso, from reading the reviews, but I did expect more. ON the plus side, seems to have a decent kick of caffeine and you can run your machine twice without the 2nd time through being just water. definately more bang for the buck in that regard
