Description

ATTN: Britax owners. If our product is too short, please check to be sure your LATCH straps are in the forward facing position. Whether flying on an airplane or traveling by train or bus, it is safest and most comfortable for your child to be in a car seat. But traveling with a young child, their seat, and your carry-on can be tricky. Not anymore. The Traveling Toddler strap allows you to attach your LATCH and top tether equipped toddler's car seat to a rolling carry-on suitcase. Simply attach the LATCH and top tether straps from the car seat to the Traveling Toddler and adjust the straps so that the car seat is held securely on the suitcase. Once adjusted, the car seat can be detached and reattached to the suitcase in seconds. Lift the handle of your carry-on bag and you have a fun new stroller. Now there's an easy and inexpensive way to take your toddler's car seat and other gear on your trip. You do not have to buy a special seat or suitcase. As long as your suitcase handle locks in place, you can push it like a stroller. Your hands are free for check in and its simple to unhook for security. Keep your child safe and comfortable in their own seat. The Traveling Toddler has been tested with most major car seat brands including Graco, Eddie Bauer, Cosco, Evenflo, and Britax, and a variety of carry-on suitcases and has worked with every combination. It is important that the telescoping handle of your suitcase locks in place. If not, it might not stay extended when you try to push your child in front of you, though you would still be able to pull them. If flying, make sure that your car seat is FAA approved before traveling. The Traveling Toddler strap is made from heavyweight polypropylene webbing that will withstand 900 lbs of force. When not in use it easily slips in the pocket of your carry-on. As with any other wheeled child carrier, do not use the Traveling Toddler on stairs or escalators. Car seat and suitcase sold separately. Patent pending.

5Excellent Product!  Sep 08, 2010
This simple product is amazing. We used it on a recent trip with a Britax Marathon car seat and loved it. It's so easy to use and makes traveling with a car seat (and baby) smooth. We only took one of our car seats, so we used it for our 16 month old who weighs about 20 pounds. My husband pulled him along just fine. I struggled a little bit just because you have to pull your luggage a little lower than usual to keep the car seat bottom from dragging, but that may be because our car seat is large and carry-on luggage was on the small side. It was really easy to release once we got to our gate. With out this product, we probably wouldn't have taken our car seat because it would have been a pain to carry around the airport while carrying a 1 year old and walking with a 2 year old. And having our car seat on the plane made a huge difference for our 1 year old. I can't say enough good things about this product. I would say it's a little costly based on the simplicity of it, but it was so worth every penny!!

4Easier than dragging a carseat through the airport!  Sep 07, 2010
Though we haven't been brave enough to try putting our child in it while hooked to our carry-on rollerboard, we use it to have one less thing to pull through the airport. Works as advertised.

5So simple but great!  Sep 01, 2010
Was feeling like maybe I overpaid for something I could've made at home but the convenience and strength of the Traveling Toddler was well worth it. I didn't use it to roll my child in, but just to carry the carseat to be checked without lugging it around. This made traveling solo with a toddler noticeably easier. My husband thinks it would be difficult to wheel your child in a large carseat with a small piece of carry-on luggage but I'm not so sure. Anyway I think it's worth it just to carry the carseat.

4Good for flights without layovers  Aug 27, 2010
This product worked really well and wasn't too hard to put together even when I was traveling by myself with my daughter. The only problem was when I had to get off the plane. It was more difficult to get it together in a narrow aisle with flight attendants hurrying you. I liked how it worked and my daughter appreciated the ride but I would only use it on flights without layovers now.

5Love it!!  Aug 25, 2010
This is a must have for everyone traveling with a car seat. Extremely easy to attach for use and transfer through airport security and use on the plane. Even if your suitcase handle does not stay locked (ours won't stay put), you can still free up a hand to pull the case and car seat. We used a stroller for our child and pulled the car seat with carry bags in it. Wheeled the whole thing right onto the plane like that. A breeze!
