Great for home use! Aug 21, 2010 Love these weights! They are soft on my hands and were priced better than most other weights out there. Much better than the free weights at the gym- they are too hard on your hands!
satisfied Aug 21, 2010 Great product, feels secure in hand, shipped and arrived quickly.
The only drawback Ive found was on the heads of the dumbells is a small bump where a screw or something is under the coating, and it appears this would be the 1st place to wear thru.
being careful how you put these down should take care of that
useful and just the right weight for cardio exerciese Jul 25, 2010 I absolutely love these weights. I have had them for about a year now and they have lasted through 2 puppies and are still going strong!! Great for cardio exercise, just the right weight. I have the 3 lb. purple ones. Definitely recommend them! :)
Great for rotator cuff exercise Jun 15, 2010 When I was told to use NO HEAVIER THAN 5 lb for rotator cuff exercise, I laughed out loud because I was obviously too tough and strong for those tiny little weights. I decided to use 15 and 10 lb that I used to work with when I was 4 years old.
Few weeks later, my shoulder progressively has gotten worse and I almost had to get surgery because of it. I cried.
So yeah, no matter how strong you think you are, try to use weights as light as 2 lb for rotator cuff. I know the colors are a turn off, but they're really cute when you see them in person. After using a 3 lb weight for about a week, my shoulder pain was already going away.
5lb hand weights' Jun 09, 2010 They feel comfortable in my hands. The material is nice cuz if your hands sweat they dont get really slippery.
