My husband loves it! Aug 27, 2010 I purchased this for my husband's birthday. He likes hot tea and it is hell trying to find a "manly teapot". That is what he wanted for his birthday. All I could find was the feminine teapots and sets. Then I found the Tea Maker Suite and it was idea. It makes the tea to the strength he enjoys and also does not have "foo foo" colors so he can still feel like the man he is. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys hot tea. It is easy to clean and friendly to use!
Good, but has it's flaws Aug 22, 2010 I had one of these for about 1.5 years (it is currently not working). It was fun and I enjoyed the tea it made.
Pro:
quick and easy to brew a small amount of tea
several settings
one - two cups (good for me)
Cons:
Use it right away, or it gets cold
only two actual temperatures
The teapot lid has no indentations and the lid can be very difficult to open - especially if it is moist. It slips.
at $99 it is expensive
Below $50, I will replace it; but until that time, I will use something else.
at the tea altar Aug 03, 2010 Oh what a marvelous gizmo this is. It makes my tea perfectly every time.....hot, not stewed if I am a few minutes late to pour. I simply could not do without it....love it and recommend it.
Zarafina Love Jul 22, 2010 My husband and I have had our Zarafina for almost a year now, and love it! We use it twice daily. I have recommended it to many loose leaf tea drinkers because of its early morning convenience (especially if you get it all prepared the night before).
My one complaint is that it can be difficult to clean, but to be honest, I would probably hate cleaning any tea maker.
Overall... Love it!
Best tea maker EVER! Jul 01, 2010 This tea maker can do all the things it took me years to learn about brewing the perfect cup of tea. It makes the perfect cup every time. I LOVE this!
