Best Tea Maker~ Ever!!! Mar 12, 2010 Bought this for the tea lover in our house and it works fantastic for loose leaf teas. Now we buy all sorts of fancier teas and have no worries that it will turn out perfectly brewed each time. This machine allows you to select how strong you like your tea as well as whether it's green, white, black, etc. Excellent purchase and I highly recommend it.
Simply Wonderful Mar 12, 2010 This makes wonderful tea. I purposely postponed posting a comment until I brewed multiple cups to have an accurate description of the product and a real sense of what this product can do. I've owned my tea maker for over 7 months now and have brewed over 70 cups. I've never had a problem with this item. It adjusts the temperature based on the settings you switch it to, depending on the type of tea you're making.
Great quality product. This is made out of a thicker sturdy plastic. The power cord is a thick cord. The cups and pot aren't cheap plastic. They are real stoneware. The bottom stoneware tray can be used as a serving tray to put the pot and cups on.
This is an electrical appliance. I've read that some people have had a problem with the heating element. I believe you could encounter this problem if you are allowing the electrical metal connections to get wet during washing. I've also read that some people believe this is hard to clean. I am not a coffee drinker but this isn't any harder to clean than an electric coffee pot. DON'T DUNK THE WHOLE UNIT IN WATER. USE THE COVER PLUG. DON'T LET THE METAL HEATING ELEMEMENTS TOUCH WATER. Use a wet cloth to wipe the outside.
Read the directions. Once I forgot to put the pot under the brewer and was afraid the coffee would disperse all over the counter top. I'm not sure if it had a sensor or something but it just sat in the brewer until I put the pot under it to dispense the tea. WOW! I'm not sure that's normal but it is impressive.
Breaks easily, but makes a good cup. Feb 27, 2010 I had to buy a new one for my roommate after I accidentally broke it by washing it incorrectly. It does make a good cup a tea, but now I refuse to use it cause I don't want another 70 dollar mistake.
I love this tea maker! Feb 05, 2010 I had been looking for a tea maker for a while. Prices on most are through the roof. I ran across this tea maker on sale. So, I bought it. It works perfectly! After having this for almost a year, I would pay full price for it! Because it is so simple to use, my husband started drinking tea. And that in itself is amazing.
If you love tea and want a tea maker, this is the one for you!

Hot Tea! Jan 30, 2010 This little wonder is so easy to use. I especially appriciate the quick clean up. The tea temperature selection for brewing is perfect. The strength selector is a little off when using bags instead of loose tea.
Only one wish - that if you make tea for two, but there is only you, it would be great for the tea pot to sit on a warming plate or that it had a warming element in it, powered by inductive technology. That way, cup two is good to the last drop.
