was awesome Aug 25, 2010 This was great, but then it stopped working as well. I've had my frother for about 4 months now and it began to spin less effectively. I changed the batteries which helped but didn't solve the problem.
Was Expecting More Power Aug 11, 2010 After reading many glowing reviews of this product, I decided to purchase this product. I adore coffee, particularly cappuccinos and lattes. This is the first milk frother I have purchased, and it did not live up to it's strong recommendations. A number of reviews praised it for it's frothing ability. One review said something like: the foam is so good that it can be shaped. In my experience this frother makes okay foam, but the foam disappears very quickly and isn't very thick. I have tried it with skim milk, whole milk, and heavy whipping cream. Although it wasn't very expensive I am not satisfied with this product.
A handy tool at the right price Aug 03, 2010 For the longest time, it never occurred to me to get something like this. It was a nuisance to froth milk from the spout off the side of my espresso machine, just as it was to clean. So I stopped and just went without the foam, which is fine. But when I discovered this product on Amazon and read the reviews, I thought I'd try it, and sure enough, it works as well as everyone says. I'm also looking forward to try it for a milkshake, so it's good that this can help with several different things.
If I had to make one criticism, and it's minor, is that the on/off switch isn't as intuitive to the touch as I think it should be. You can operate it by pushing it in either direction, and sometimes with just the lightest touch or push. The button is spongy and sensitive. It should be more precise. But at the end of the day, it works as it should and I can find little fault with that. I'm very glad I bought this product and recommend it.
Love this frother! Jul 31, 2010 This little frother does an excellent job! True, it doesn't quite match up to a steam frother, but since my espresso maker stopped working, I needed an inexpensive alternative to making latte drinks. I owned another branded frother that seemed to work okay for awhile but I was always replacing batteries. I've had this one for about 2 months now and the batteries are still going strong. I don't own a microwave, so I heat milk on the stove in a small saucepan and then in less than a minute, I have dense, foamy froth using this little gem. Love it, and it definitely out-performs any other frother I've tried at this price point. I also love that it stands on end, so it stores very nicely.
